  • Provides information and advice for all those affected by autistic spectrum disorders in the UK. This includes parents, other family members, carers and people with autism or Asperger syndrome.

  • Call 0845 070 4004 for the Autism helpline, open between 10am and 4pm on weekdays. The Helpline provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support to people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. The Helpline is staffed by advisers who are able to talk about the range of autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs) and related issues in depth.

  • Call 0800 9520 520 for a free ‘parent to parent’ line that is open 24 hours a day. This offers confidential telephone support by volunteer parents to other parents of an adult or child with an autistic spectrum disorder.

  • Information packs and factsheets on specific subjects are also available.
